Users review: I just returned from having a special preview of Help, which is due in theaters this summer. Okay, so here's the truth: Im a middle-aged, white male ... I have not read the book and I did, based on the fact that almost all the women in the cast, this was some kind of a chick flick. Boy, was I wrong! This is an incredible film, which not only pay for the right book is based (including Siuda to read the book and seen the movie n), but is phenomenally cast, with exceptional performances by Viola Davis, Emma Stone, Octavia Spencer, Bryce Dallas Howard and Allison Janney. Veteran actresses Sissy Spacek and Cicely Tyson also gives incredible performances. Although Tyson's character the central story-line, the role is, what seems to be a few minutes of precious time 2:20 run, it produces, in my opinion one of the most powerful and moving moments in the film ... one does not even recite the line (trust me, you'll know when you see it.) Help also provides some very funny moments and dual pineapple make you laugh. Ill go so far as to say that the film and some of the actors to do some Oscar nominations. I think this definitely takes Stone into a whole new level. The racial imbalance in 1963 is well documented instructions and will, no doubt, as long as stressed to find in America, as well as how little progress we have made the past 50 years. Either way, this is a powerful film that has been seen on the big screen as soon as you can hear a number of tickets. |
