Users review: When a Vietnam movie star gets owned by a British director first time, the results are dominated by chaos ego is a month late after just five days of shooting. Director Damien Cockburn makes a decision that the Four Leaf Tayback experiences are best captured in the film to drop the basic mold in the jungle and forced to experience the closest to reality while put it all on camera. Unfortunately when Cockburn is killed by mines in a mere minute mission, the cast are left amidst a dangerous jungle, not quite sure if this is real or not.When I went to see this film not I would have expected it to be much more than a basic comedy, but the reality is that this is a very clever satire of Hollywood film and acting also produces giggles one expects from Ben Stiller film. The black-face issue mentioned about the movie walking a fine line between being funny offensive, but to me the greatest act of tightrope between being funny be stupid Ridiculous ass. Here and there it gets very close to hitting this line (for example, all things Tom Cruise) but if you are with him, he manages to just about stay on the right side of the line. The silly plot allows Micky when making big studio action films, pampered actors, bad projects, studio executives and so on? is never wise, but it's mostly fun. I think the film is not always successful, because even a kind of horse two stools and those who want one or the other will have reserves while the smallest number that recognize two stools will may see flaws in both. To explain better than I should probably say what I mean instead of referring to furniture and beyond. View as a satire is undeniably large and clumsy with the excavations carried out in clever ways but still quite obvious and you have a lot of laughs about it not sit round with those seeking intelligent satire . On the other hand, have lovers stupidity of it but do not really get it when you are trying to do excavations, though they laugh out loud in a blood character dining misunderstanding it a special effect. Somehow, though only works simply give up for it and things like racial, anti-Semitic material etc all hang out together sufficiently.The are a large part of what is working. Stiller is solid and works around your character and making fun of him. Downey Jr. is very impressive as an actor method that produces deep controversy. Black is a necessary evil, but at least his characters ADDICTIVE the drug makes it of value in satire, though its performance is still a big scream. I enjoyed the support of both Baruchel and Jackson, who had his own side of the star cast. The rest of the cast includes solid laps Nolte, Coogan, Maguire (great reference superhero movie), Pollack and other tins shadow of a great Tom Cruise, which for me is what should be talking about with regard to the dispute tightrope. He is always about an inch away from being embarrassingly silly but still gets off.Tropic Tro is not a perfect film by any means. Satire and the knock-on mood dont complement each other that well, but somehow it all works and most risky moves removed although not as intellectual as she wanted to be smart. For some it will be the stupidest thing I have ever seen, to others? the fun, the truth is somewhere in the middle and it's nice for him.
